A Day At The Park Main Album part 1

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Valentines with your loved ones. I have posted part 1 of a video tutorial showing you how to create the cover of my mini album that I created using the awesome PHOTOPLAY Papers "A DAY AT THE PARK" collection. You can also puchase a pre order kit that I have put together with all of the goodies needed to make both the album and the autograph book that has it's own little spot in the back of the album. Autograph book made with A day At The Park papers by PHOTOPLAY

Loving my laser!

Hi everyone! I just wanted to share my latest project that I created using my laser and the PHOTOPLAY papers "A Day At The Park". I was inspired by my trip to Epcot years ago. They had a telephone booth there that you could use to talk to people in England, Orlando and in Canada! I thought this was so cool and when I was cruising through Pinerest, I came upon a really amazing photo of a re purposed telephone booth! This is a display in a flower shop....

It reminded me of my awesome vacation!

I have many photos from that trip, but first I worked on creating the phone booth. Here is my unpainted first edit.....

Then I decided to create an album that will fit inside the telephone booth. I love the precision of the laser because I can pre cut all of the holes for the magnets and line up everything perfectly so that I know it will fit like a glove!

Of course, I had to have a tiny little telephone for the inside of my booth, so I grabbed some polymer clay that was older than my son lol (it took me many hours to bring it back to life let me tell you!) and created a phone using a picture that I grabbed from a Google search.

Once I had this made and the details of the album size and opening in the back of the booth worked out, I created a mini album that also has an autograph book inside. I just love the Photoplay "A DAY AT THE PARK" collection! I have a tutorial for the autograph book that I did live on Facebook and you can find it on the PHOTOPLAY paper Facebook page.
